Our first thoughts are with the needy of the California Wildfire and the many courageous first responders!

We are not directly in the nearest wildfire region. Nevertheless, we are close enough to feel direct effects, such as dramatic deterioration of air quality or power shut-offs from our local electricity provider PG & E. 

For 5 days the electricity was cut off in the whole city and almost the whole county where we have our warehouse and home. We are happy to say that we got through it well and especially thank the local fire brigade, the police, and all the volunteers.

But we store some products in our professional refrigerators, and we were unable to restore them in a timely manner.
We have tested these products - especially a fresh delivery of original NIEDEREGGER marzipan - with random samples. 

All samples are flawless in taste. But due to the temperature change from chilled to cold and back, this has occurred what professionals call chocolate blooming (more on that here https://mgc.tips/discochoc). This chocolate and marzipan are perfect and safe to eat, but some pieces do not look so attractive anymore. As a gift, these are not suitable for example.
Therefore, we have decided to offer these products for sale with a 50% discount! Please be sure that the color change does not bother you, the taste of all our tested bars was flawless! Since we can not open all the packages, we even believe that some products have not changed at all, but we do not want you to have any bad surprises and have therefore reduced all products that were in the fridge at the time of the power failure.

Echtes Niederegger Luebecker Marzipan covered with bittersweet & milk chocolate. It features the classic variations: pineapple, orange, espresso or pistachio marzipan, there's certainly the right taste for everyone.
