These small little bars are Niederegger Marzipan covered in dark, bittersweet german chocolate. Every bar is a bitesize deliciousness!

 

In 1806 Mr Niederegger was able to open his first shop in Germany Luebeck. From then on, Niederegger reputation grew thanks to excellent quality. His recipe for marzipan – as many almonds as possible, as little sugar as necessary – is a secret, and has been passed on from generation to generation since till today. That way, Niederegger Marzipan remains what it has always been: a delicious speciality made from the very best almonds.

 

Only Niederegger is 100% pure Marzipan, here are the different classes:

 

Niederegger Marzipan (100:0)

is produced from fine raw marzipan paste (100%).

 

Lübeck Edelmarzipan (fine marzipan) (90:10)

is produced from raw marzipan paste (90%) and added sugar (10%).

 

Lübeck marzipan (70:30)

is produced from raw marzipan paste (70%) and then processed with an added sugar content of 30%.
