Product Description
The Jahnke family is known for decades, for his fine sophisticated licorice sweets. A Chile Rod is more spicy then the usual american licorice, but nevertheless mild and aromatic. It does not contain chili - the hot pepper - the name reseigns from Chile the counrty!
These is a sweet licorice, ideal for starters with a low amount of salmiak salt. A sweet caramel kernel is covered with delicious licorice and sprinkled with sugar.
The sugared hard caramels first develop a spicy liquorice flavor with a fine salt note when sucking, and then combine with sweet-creamy caramel flavor as you approach the middle.
Ingredients:
Sugar, glucose syrup, sweetened condensed milk, licorice extract (3%), ammonium chloride (1.9%), flavor, color (vegetable carbon).
