Product Description
The original Leibniz Buttercookie - the classic among the cookies. Ideal for on the go and in between â of course only really with 52 teeth.
The Leibniz Story: In 1891 Hermann Bahlsen, the company's founder, created these butter biscuits and named them after Gottfried Wilheim Leibniz, the most famous citizen of his hometown of Hannover. Leibniz, born in 1646, was a philosopher, mathematician and physicist. Leibniz is one of the oldest trade names in business today. ("Hermann Bahlsen not only invented the shape of this biscuit, but also introduced the word "Keks" into German, deriving from the English word "cakes". You can recognize a real Leibniz biscuit by its edges. The edge of the biscuit has 52 "teeth", if there is one more or less, it's a fake :-)" (c) Goethe Institut) Wer kennt ihn nicht? Den Original Leibniz Butterkeks - den Klassiker unter den Butterkeksen. Ideal für unterwegs und zwischendurch - natürlich nur echt mit 52 Zähnen.
