We only use extra coarse sea salt harvested from the Pacific Ocean. It is made by channeling ocean water into ponds and allowing the sun and wind to evaporate it naturally. And its made right here in the San Francisco Bay Area. Where it boasts one of only two sea salt works in the entire United States. It is an ideal area for salt making, thanks to clay soils and a Mediterranean climate - just enough rain in the fall, winter and spring, followed by dry summers with steady breezes and plenty of summer sunshine. Our Product will never contain any anticaking or free-flowing additives or conditioners.
And we always use fresh ingredience, for Mums Mixed Vegies Salt we use Celeryroot, Carrot, Leek and green Onions. Infused in our Sea Salt it is a perfect companion for any kind of Poultry, Fish or Vegetarian Dish, ideal for any kind of Green Salads , Dressing and Dips. Try it on a hot Potatoes and some Butter. We explicitly choose Celery Roots, cause Celery Seed are in Mum's opinion to bitter.
